Southern California Edison needed a portal to collect information from their business customers to provide a rebate for the purchase of vehicle charging stations. This portal needed to manage data and document collection and notify the customer if any action was needed for the next steps.
I lead a team of three developers and a quality assurance manager along with a project management team lead by Quigley-Simpson and provided an online portal for the Charge Ready Pilot. The customer would verify if they were a business account owner, submit their data in a form which saved the data and transfered the form information into a .pdf on the DocuSign server. The customer would then submit any site or plan documents of their business location, sign the .pdf and await any notifications from Southern California Edison via email or through the web portal dashboard. The web portal is responsive and was built using .NET/MVC, Twitter Bootstrap and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
The pilot is ongoing until the Fall of 2016.
